“My brother, who is like my music educator, sent me the track The Other Side and I was immediately hooked. The way it encompasses historical moments in such a cinematic way, mashing up old and new, I find really moving. I’ve always had a fascination and fear of space, and getting the Doctor Who job is incidental to that. It’s like The Nothing in The NeverEnding Story… I was way too young, that fucked my brain! The existential horror of nothingness is scary, but the fact that in space there’s more galaxies than grains of sand makes me curious to see what’s up there.”

“Mon frère, qui est genre mon éducateur musical, m’a envoyé le morceau The Other Side et j’ai accroché immédiatement. La manière dont il inclut des moments historiques d’une manière tellement cinématographique, mélangeant le vieux et le nouveau, je trouve ça très émouvant. J’ai toujours eu une fascination et une peur de l’espace, et obtenir Doctor Who a été accidentel. C’est comme le Néant dans l’Histoire sans fin… J’étais trop jeune, ça m’a déglingué le cerveau ! L’horreur existentielle du Néant fait peur, mais le fait que dans l’espace il y ait plus de galaxies que de grains de sable m’a rendue curieuse de voir ce qu’il y avait là-haut”.
