“My brother, who is like my music educator, sent me the track The Other Side and I was immediately hooked. The way it encompasses historical moments in such a cinematic way, mashing up old and new, I find really moving. I’ve always had a fascination and fear of space, and getting the Doctor Who job is incidental to that. It’s like The Nothing in The NeverEnding Story… I was way too young, that fucked my brain! The existential horror of nothingness is scary, but the fact that in space there’s more galaxies than grains of sand makes me curious to see what’s up there.”
